President Buhari Makes 12 New Appointments (Full List)
President Muhammadu Buhari has made twelve (12) new appointments for his second term in office tagged “Next Level“.
Naija News understands that the President approved the re-appointment of Abba Kyari as his Chief of Staff (COS) and Boss Mustapha as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
The appointment was contained in a terse statement issued on the micro-blogging site, Twitter by Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media.
According to the President’s Personal Assistant, Kyari and Mustapha’s appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
“President @MBuhari has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Boss Mustapha as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and Malam Abba Kyari as Chief of Staff (COS) to the President. Both appointments take effect from May 29, 2019,” Ahmad tweeted on Friday evening.

Similarly the President in a statement issued by Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, also approved the appointments of ten (10) personal staff.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the following appointments of personal staff,” the President’s spokesman said.

Naija News recalls that Mr. Buhari was inaugurated on May 29, 2019, for his second term tagged “Next Level” and since then he has made appointments in key sectors in the country.
President Buhari has made appointments in the aviation, finance and oil sectors in the country since he came into the office for a second term on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.
The President has also made appointments in the National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA) as well as the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
