The Presidency has defended the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, who came under heavy criticism on Wednesday over his comment on an NTA programme. Naija News had reported earlier that the Kaduna governor said foreigners planning to intervene in the elections will leave in “body bags”.

A team of European Union election observers, earlier today has reacted to a statement made by the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, saying the union had been invited since 1999 to observe elections in Nigeria.
