Boko Haram Leader, Shekau Releases New Video Taunts Those Who Said He’s Dead
Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Jama’atu Ahlil Sunnah Lil Da’awatu Wal Jihad, a faction of the Boko Haram terrorist group, has released two videos, the group’s embattled leader featured in one. In the second video, fighters are seen in a firefight with the Nigerian Army in ‘Kumshe, Borno state, last Sunday,’ said the terror group.
Abubakar Shekau appeared in combat gear in a new video, different from his wobbly appearance in white robe from his July, 2018 video. In the latest vdeo, he stood all through the seven-minute-46-second video in full fighting gear.
Oshiomhole Reportedly Off To US, To Return For DSS Probe
The whereabouts of Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), appears shrouded in secrecy since he was reportedly grilled by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to earlier reports, Oshiomhole was detained and interrogated by the DSS after some APC governors alleged that he received bribes during the party’s primary elections.
Convoy Of British, Belgian PMs Involved in Car Accident
In what seemed to be an apparent accident on a motorway in Belgium, two police motorcycles in convoy carrying the British and Belgian prime ministers were knocked over by a car on Friday.
According to the Belgium media, the two motorcycles were escorting Theresa May and Charles Michel after they laid wreaths at World War One British graves.
Ondo Election: Governor Akeredolu, APC Lose In Court
The prayer of the Ondo State governor and the All Progressive Congress (APC)to dismiss a suit seeking the governor’s removal from office before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja was on Friday refused.
The Second runner-up during the election Mr. Olusegun Abraham, had filed the suit challenging the victory of the APC during the election.

I Won’t Abandon Fayose’s Projects – Fayemi
The governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has said that his administration will not abandon projects inherited from the previous government.
Fayemi said that he will not allow the resources of his stated to go down the drown by refusing to attest to projects initiated by the Ayodele Fayose administration, even though he doesn’t agree with the reason behind the action.
