2023: Buhari's Nephew, Sabiu Tunde Speaks On Working Against Tinubu

The presidential campaign timetable for the All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, has revealed that he is set to hold a campaign rally in Imo State on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Naija News reports that the period slated for the Imo state campaign as contained in the party’s timetable released by its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) follows the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the region.

IPOB had declared the sit-at-home order in August 2021 to protest and demand the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who the federal government has gotten a staying execution to the Appeal Court’s judgement that discharged him.

Naija News gathered that the order has been reported to have crippled several activities on Mondays in the southeast region, with several people being indoors.

However, the revised timetable for the Tinubu campaign, shows that there will be a series of rallies in Delta (19, Saturday), Imo (21, Monday), Adamawa (24, Thursday), Ogun (26, Saturday), Enugu (29, Tuesday) and Sokoto (30, Wednesday) November 2022 respectively.

The timetable also revealed that the campaign team will embark on international engagement with stakeholders in Diaspora between December 4 and 10, 2022.

Meanwhile, the Campaign spokesperson for Tinubu, Festus Keyamo, told Punch that the schedule of events and dates was a working draft, which is still subject to further adjustment.

Keyamo said “They are all subject to change or amendments as we progress due to human nature. Nobody expected the flood, for example. But it came, and all of a sudden, it slows down activities and all that.

“So this is a working draft. At least, we have a draft to work with. My final comment on this is that it is Ceteris Paribus. That is, all things being equal.”
