The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar, today met with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby in Abuja.
Atiku Abubakar, with National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and Director General of his campaign, Chief Gbenga Daniel met with the British High Commissioner and the Archbishop of Canterbury in Abuja on Saturday.
This might not be a good news for the camp of President Muhammadu buhari as Archbishop Welby who is known to have soft spot for Buhari is now meeting with Atiku is from the opposition.
Welby was known for his regular visit to the Abuja house in London anytime President Buhari is in London but Welby is now seen with Atiku.
Former Vice president Atiku was recently endorsed by his former principal chief Olusegun Obasanjo and religious clerics from both the Christian and the Islamic faith.
