Ekiti Rescue Team (ERT) Calls On Ministy Of Justice To Sue Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose For Announcing Fake Poll Result On Saturday Elections.

A group, Ekiti Rescue Team (ERT) has urged the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to prosecute Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose  for announcing fake poll results on the state broadcasting station.

The convener of the group, Ambassador Ilesanmi Ade-Ademola who described the action of the governor as direct invitation to anarchy said it was an attempt to cause crisis in the state.

Also emphasising that Fayose’s action was tantamount to felony,  Ade-damola in a statement, urged the Attorney General of the Federation to initiate charges against Fayose in the law court to defend himself after the expiration of his administration in October.

It however, appreciated the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for its timely action by shutting down the TV and Radio stations being used by Fayose to unleash terror on the people of Ekiti.

While the group charged Ekiti people to  support the incoming government of Dr Kayode Fayemi to bring desired change to the state, it pointed out that only the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has the power to collate and announce elections in any state.
