‘I Have My Own Mindset Just Like Jesus’ – Nollywood Actress, Nancy Isime

Nigerian media personality cum Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has said she is not a ‘typical Nigerian Christian’ but has her own mindset like Jesus.

Naija News reports that Nancy made this known during a recent interview with Jay On-Air, in which she shared her views on faith.

Isime explained that, unlike some Nigerian Christians, she does not look to a pastor or priest for direction but instead uses her intuition to follow Jesus.

The thespian also noted that she had anchors like Apostle Joshua Selman, whom she learns from.

She said, “I don’t serve mortals. So, I don’t have the need to perform for mortals. And I would always have a mind of my own. I would always do my own thing. I would always figure out God for myself.

“But of course, I have anchors, whom I listen to; preachers like Apostle Joshua Selman. When you understand the kind of preachers I listen to, you will understand where I am coming from. I am not your typical Nigerian Christian, and I don’t want to be. I have my own mindset just like Jesus.” 

In other news, Nancy Isime recently shared emotional memories of her late colleague, Alex Ekubo, during his service of songs.

While paying her tribute, she described him as a lively and playful person who always knew how to make people laugh.

She said, “And one thing nobody has really mentioned here is his bad mouth. Alex had bad mouth,” recalling how he never missed a chance to tease people around him.

Nancy added that Alex always had a way of giving friends funny nicknames, saying, “He used to call me old 20 naira, the oldest. Even when I started to make money and look new, he said no, you are still old 20 naira” She noted that his jokes never stopped, no matter the situation.
