Real Madrid’s fast-rising superstar Jude Bellingham and Chelsea defender Levi Colwill are the latest players to withdraw from the Three Lions of England squad.

The head coach of the Three Lions of England, Gareth Southgate named Jude Bellingham and Levi Colwill into the squad billed to execute the Euro 2024 qualification matches against Malta and North Macedonia.

The game against Malta is scheduled to kick off at 8:45 p.m. on Friday, November 17, while the game against North Macedonia will kick off at 8:45 p.m. on Monday, November 20.

Unfortunately for England, they will be going into the game without Real Madrid midfielder Bellingham and Chelsea defender Colwill who are both out with shoulder injuries.

This means that five players have now withdrawn from Gareth Southgate’s initial squad for the matches.

Cole Palmer, Ezri Konsa, and Rico Lewis took James Maddison, Callum Wilson, and Lewis Dunk’s places on Monday due to fitness issues.

Despite the withdrawal of Bellingham and Colwill from the squad, Southgate will not add new players to the squad for the game at Wembley Stadium against Malta and the away game against North Macedonia.

Note that England have already qualified for the 2024 European Championship which is scheduled to take place in Germany. Their remaining games against Malta and North Macedonia are just formalities.

England are currently topping Group C with 16 points in 6 games after five wins and one draw. They are closely followed by Ukraine who have 13 points in seven games.
