BREAKING: Tinubu, Shettima Arrive Eagle Square For Inauguration

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appreciated all party members, supporters, and leaders for their contribution to the successful nationwide campaign.

Tinubu asked the APC members to be proud of their achievements following the grand finale of the party’s presidential campaign rally in Lagos State.

In a series of tweets via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday evening, the former Governor of Lagos State promised to build a nation of renewed hope if elected as the President.

He wrote: “Today, we came to the end of our campaign with a rapturous final rally in Lagos State, my home. The atmosphere was incredible, the love and support palpable.

“I must also say a special thanks to each and every political leader, party member, and supporter, in all parts of this country, who contributed to our party’s successful nationwide campaign. You should be proud of what we have achieved; as I am.

“Together we will win this election. Together, we will build a nation of renewed hope.”

Why Osinbajo Failed To Attend Tinubu’s Presidential Campaigns

The spokesman of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign, Festus Keyamo has revealed why the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo failed to attend the presidential rallies of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Naija News had earlier reported that Tinubu on Tuesday ended his presidential campaign rally in Lagos State.

The Vice President, who contested for the presidential ticket of the APC, was not in attendance as he had been absent from previous events.

There had been claims that Osinbajo refused to attend the rallies due to his differences with Tinubu after losing out to him in the presidential primaries of the APC.

Kayamo, however, in his reaction to Osinbajo’s absence from the party’s presidential campaign, said the Vice President was absent due to President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive.

According to Keyamo, President Buhari directed Osinbajo and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, to stay away from the party’s campaigns, while he campaigns for the APC.
