Battle On Buka Street: I Am Sorry – Tonto Dikeh Sends Apology To Funke Akindele

Popular Nigerian Actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has apologized to her colleague, Funke Akindele for missing out on the premiere of her latest movie, Battle on Buka Street.

Naija News reports that all roads led to Filmhouse Cinemas, Landmark event center, in the Oniru area of Lagos on Sunday, December 11, for the official premiere of Battle on Buka Street.

Colleagues like Iyabo Ojo, Sola Sobowale, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Femi Adebayo, among others all showed up to support one of their own.

Tonto also received an invite to the movie premiere but failed to attend for undisclosed reasons.

She however sent her team to the event and according to her they could not stop talking about it.

Taking to her Instagram page , Tonto apologized to Funke after congratulating her on her new project.

She wrote, “Congratulations sis.

“Sorry for not making it to the premiere of BATTLE ON BUKA STREET. My team couldn’t stop telling me how amazing the movie is and I can’t wait for our cinemas date to go see the film!!!

Guys BATTLE ON BUKA STREET will start showing in cinemas nationwide from the 16 of December make sure to see this movie!!

Wedlone again sis @funkejenifaakindele”.

When Funke came across the post, she replied; “ My sister, thanks.”
