Ex-CBN Governor, Sanusi Hails Tinubu On Economic Reforms

Naija News reports that the dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi Lamido II, has arrived Loko, a town in Nasarawa State where he was exiled by the Kano State government.

His arrival was confirmed by the traditional ruler of Loko, Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, to NAN who noted that Sanusi arrived at his palace at 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

“Yes, Emir Sanusi is in my palace. He arrived this morning around 3 a.m., but no one will be allowed to speak with him,” he said.

This online medium recalls that Sanusi was removed on Monday as the Emir of Kano by the Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The state government accused the dethroned Emir of gross insubordination and disregard for constituted authority.

A new Emir has already been appointed in the person of Aminu Ado Bayero in place of the dethroned Sanusi.
