Yahaya Bello Sends Condolence To Kogi PDP

The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has mourned the passing away of Taiwo Kola-Ojo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi West Chairman.

The governor in his commiseration message on Thursday issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Onogwu, said the PDP chieftain’s death is sad news.

He went ahead to pray to God to grant the family, party members and the entire people of Kogi state the fortitude to bear the loss.

It will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that Mr. Kola-Ojo slumped and died while playing tennis and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

“It is with heavy hearts but with total submission to the will of God that I, on behalf of the government and People of Kogi received the sad demise of one of us, Mr Taiwo Kola-Ojo.

“The death is more touching, especially for the fact that he was actively involved in the recent political activities in the state.

“On behalf of my immediate family and the people of Kogi, I, therefore, condole with the family of the deceased Chairman and the PDP over this sad news,” the governor said in his condolence message.
