What Fayose Said About Leah Sharibu As She Turns 16

Ayodele Fayose, the immediate past governor of Ekiti state, has expressed dismay over the scenes of violence recorded ahead of the Kogi governorship election.

Naija News reports that Fayose was reacting to the “persistent attack on Natasha Akpoti” a candidate of the SDP in the election and the attack on Governor Seyi Makinde by masked men on Friday in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.

Reacting to the attacks in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, Fayose said with what is going on in Kogi state, it is “obvious that Gov Yahaya Bello is averse to free and fair elections.”

The former Governor warned that should “anything happen to anyone in Kogi tomorrow (November 16) Nigerians should hold Yahaya Bello accountable.”

His words: “From the persistent attack on Natasha Akpoti and today’s use of masked policemen to attack Gov. Seyi Makinde, it is obvious that Gov Yahaya Bello is averse to free & fair elections.

“Should anything happen to anyone in Kogi tomorrow,Nigerians should hold Yahaya Bello accountable,” Fayose tweeted.
