Fire Guts FIRS Headquarters 

An inferno in the late hours of Sunday gutted the headquarters of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) at Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Naija News understands that the firefighters arrived the scene almost immediately to put out the fire.

In a video clip that has been circulating the media, policemen and firefighters were seen battling to put the fire off as huge smoke oozed from one of the buildings.

The short video file was reportedly published by Tribune Online late on Sunday night.

As at the time of the report, it was not immediately confirmed to what extent the fire affected the building.
