Gen. Abubakar Must Reveal Who Killed MKO Abiola – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has urged former Military Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd), to reveal who killed MKO Abiola.

Naija News reports that leaders of Afenifere, OPC, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Middle-belt forum, PANDEF amongst other snubbed a peace meeting called by Abubaker because he also invited the leaders of Miyetti Allah.

Recall that Gen Abubakar was also the military ruler of Nigeria when the acclaimed winner of the 1993 Presidential Election, MKO Abiola, was murdered in prison.

In a post on his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode stated that he won’t sit down with the former Head of State until he reveals who murdered Abiola.

He wrote: “The only time that I will ever sit down for any type of peace talks or negotiations between north and south with Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar is AFTER he tells me who murdered MKO Abiola under his watch.

“That is the starting point of any negotiation. Anything less is shameless crap!”
