Police Arraigns Adeleke, Others For Examination Malpractice

Nigerians React As PDP's Adeleke Wins Osun Governorship Election

The Federal government has arraigned Senator Ademola Adeleke representing Osun West and four others before Justice I. E. Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja on the charge of examination malpractice.

The names of the accused include Sikiru Adeleke, Alhaji Aregbesola Mufutau (Principal of the school), Gbadamosi Thomas Ojo (school Registrar) and Dare Samuel Olutope (teacher).

Adeleke and others are facing a four-count charge filed in the name of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of fraudulently, through personation, registering as students of Ojo-Aro Community Grammar School, Ojo-Aro Osun State to enable them sit for the National Examination Council (NECO) examination of June/July 2017.

The accused will be arraigned on October 31 before.

Naija News recalls that Adeleke was the People’s democratic Party candidate for the September 22 governorship election in Osun state, which he lost to the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, after a rerun election on the 27th of the same month.
