Dasuki’s Bail Denial: Lawyer Urges NBA To Boycott Courts
Dr. Kayode Ajulo, a Human Right Lawyer has said that if the Federal Government continues to disregard court order granting former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, bail, the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) should boycott the courts.
Ajulo in a statement made available to Naija News in Abuja, stated that democracy and rule of law are in risk with the continues flouting of court orders regarding the bail of Dasuki by the government.
Garba Shehu Blames Insecurity, Killings On Politicians
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Malam Garba Shehu has blamed the spate of insecurity and killings in the country to corrupt politicians.
Shehu, while speaking to newsmen in Abuja blamed corrupt politicians who no longer have access to the nation’s commonwealth because of the current administration were bent on taking the shine out of the Buhari-led administration.

No fewer than four suspected bandits in connection with several killings in Benue has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force.
The Force Spokesman, Acting DCP Jimoh Moshood, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on the arrest of the suspects on Tuesday in Abuja.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, has stated that the fight for power and President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti graft war are responsible for the violence across Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari in a bid to confirm Mr. Folashodun Shonubi as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has today written to the Senate.
President Buhari’s letter was read by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, after a one-hour closed door session upon its resumption from a three weeks recess.
