Bayern Munich Reject Real Madrid Interest In Michael Olise

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has firmly dismissed any prospect of Michael Olise leaving the Bundesliga champions, insisting the France winger is not for sale despite growing speculation linking him with Real Madrid.

Hainer said Bayern would not entertain offers for the 24-year-old, even if they exceeded €150 million, stressing that the club considers Olise a key part of its long-term plans.

“As I’ve said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don’t want to sell Michael Olise,” Hainer said.

“We have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and they contacted me to say they’ve had absolutely no contact with Michael and they do not want these constant speculations in the media.

“He’s a Bayern Munich player and has a long-term contract. And we’re not a selling club.”

The comments come amid persistent reports linking the French international with a move to the Spanish giants following an impressive campaign for club and country.

Olise has carried his fine form into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he has emerged as one of France’s standout performers. The creative winger leads the tournament’s assist rankings with five. Two of those assists came in France’s convincing 3-0 win over Sweden.

France have progressed to the last 16 of the World Cup and will face Paraguay as they continue their bid for another global title. With Olise pulling the strings in attack, Les Bleus remain among the favourites to go deep into the competition.
