Liverpool Full 2026-2027 Premier League Fixtures

Liverpool will begin life under Andoni Iraola with a demanding trip to Newcastle United after the Premier League unveiled its fixture list for the 2026-27 season.

The opening weekend clash at St James’ Park on August 23 marks the start of a new chapter at Anfield following Iraola’s appointment as successor to Arne Slot.

It has been a summer of change on Merseyside. Club legends Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have departed, while defender Ibrahima Konate has also moved on as Liverpool reshape their squad ahead of a fresh campaign.

Despite winning the Premier League title in 2024-25, Liverpool endured a difficult season last term. A series of injuries and the tragic passing of forward Diogo Jota disrupted their challenge, but the Reds still secured a Champions League place with a fifth-place finish.

Iraola has already been handed reinforcements. Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet is set to arrive following a £60 million agreement reached during the winter transfer window, while Spain international winger Victor Munoz joins from Osasuna.

Attention will quickly turn to Newcastle, where several intriguing storylines are expected to dominate the build-up.

Liverpool’s first home match comes against Nottingham Forest on August 29 before trips to Ipswich Town and Bournemouth in the opening weeks.

The first Merseyside derby of the season will take place away at Everton on November 28, with the return fixture at Anfield scheduled for January 30.

Other standout dates include home meetings with Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, while Liverpool will travel to the Etihad on May 8 in what could prove a decisive stage of the campaign.

The Reds round off the season at Anfield against Bournemouth on May 30, 2027, with Iraola hoping to guide Liverpool back into title contention.
