2026 Champions League Team Of The Season Revealed As PSG Dominate UEFA XI
Paris Saint-Germain’s historic UEFA Champions League triumph has been further recognised with five of their players named in UEFA’s official Team of the Season for 2025/2026.
The selection, announced by UEFA’s Technical Observer Group, is dominated by the newly crowned European champions, who provide nearly half of the players in the star-studded Champions League XI.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was included on the left side of midfield, while the final Player of the Match, Vitinha, also earned a place in the team.
They are joined by PSG captain Marquinhos and fellow defender Nuno Mendes, with forward Ousmane Dembélé completing the club’s strong representation.
Arsenal had the second-highest number of players selected, with three stars making the cut after the club’s run to the final stage of the competition. Goalkeeper David Raya was chosen between the posts, while defender Gabriel Magalhães and midfielder Declan Rice were also recognised.
German giants Bayern Munich contributed two players, with midfielder Michael Olise and striker Harry Kane earning places in the side.
The remaining spot went to Marcos Llorente of Atlético de Madrid.
Notably absent from the final selection was Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal, despite an impressive European campaign, and the tournament’s highest goalscorer of the season, Kylian Mbappe.
