‘I’m Coming For You’ – Nollywood Actor, Okunnu Fires Back At Olasco Films Over Unpaid Debt
Veteran Nollywood comic actor, Wale Akorede, also known as Okunnu, has fired back at popular movie marketer, Olasco Films, for calling him an ingrate.
Naija News recalls that Okunnu had earlier dragged Olasco Films over a 16-year debt.
Okunnu, in an interview with media personality, Olugbenga Oropo Valentine on the SAWORO program, said Olasco has refused to pay for a movie he produced for him.
Recounting the incident, Okunnu, who tagged the unpaid money his “sweat”, stated that he did not receive a dime from the money made from the movie he produced, directed and played the lead role.
In response, Olasco, in an interview with Tunde Ola-Yusuf, described Okunnu as an ingrate, revealing that he gave the movie star ₦2 million to produce the movie for him.
He said, “Okunnu is like a blind man using a walking stick, and when he regained his sight, he threw away the walking stick that was guiding him when he was blind. That’s who he is for him to say he worked for me without pay. Okunnu collected ₦2 million from me to produce the movie for me 16 years ago. As at that time, production only cost between ₦700,000 to ₦1 million.
Reacting to Olasco, via the interviewer’s comment section on Instagram, Okunnu, who threatened to come out for him in a big way, announced an end to his 16 years of silence.
He wrote, “I’m still coming for you in a BIG way. My silence for 16 years is coming soon.”
