A Nigerian lady, identified as Sylvia Obianuju Chikwendu, has cried out on social media over the loneliness she has been experiencing since her relocation to Canada.

Naija News learned that Chikwendu, in a post shared on her TikTok handle, expressed how much she missed her family and life.

According to Vanguard, Chikwendu, in the video accompanying the social media post, was captured weeping profusely while expressing her loneliness.

The young lady noted that immigrants are not told about the life they would experience after relocation, and she feels sad about her current situation.

She said, “I feel so lonely, I felt like I would never have someone to have this conversation with…

“I’m so sad, I miss my life and my family. I feel invincible, I’m hurting all the time, I feel like I’m just existing. I need help.

“People don’t tell you about moving to Canada. I feel so lonely. I feel like I live with someone I can’t have a conversation with. I’m trying to cry, and I have to be silent about it.

“You just lose out on so many things. Your life, you just leave it behind. You have to work all the time, and you have school. I’m so sad.”

Meanwhile, Nigerians massively encouraged her to adapt to her new life, while some said they preferred such a life to be in Nigeria.
