Video: Moment Killer-cop Vandi Was Led Out Of Court After Death Sentence

A video has surfaced online capturing the moment convicted officer of the Nigeria Police, Drambi Vandi, was being led out of the courtroom after a death sentence was passed on him for killing Lagos lawyer, Bolanle Raheem.

Naija News reported earlier that the Lagos State High Court found Vandi guilty of fatally shooting Bolanle Raheem on Christmas Day, December 25, 2022, while she was driving with her husband.

While delivering judgment today at the Court located at the Tafawa Balewa Square annex in Igbosere, Lagos Island, Justice Ibironke Harrison, affirmed that the prosecution, represented by the Lagos State Government, had convincingly established the case against the convicted officer, leaving no room for doubt.

The judge said, “The court finds the defendant guilty on one count of murder. You will be hanged by the neck till you are dead.”

A video of Vandi shared on social media showed the killer cop in a white tee shirt and face mask, looking all paled as hundreds of journalists, and court witnesses among others watch him being led out by a prison official.
