Fenway Sports Put Liverpool Up For Sale After 12 Years

American owners, Fenway Sports Group, who have owned Liverpool since 2010, is now accepting proposals from prospective buyers.

According to a statement sent to the Athletic, FSG

The statement reads, “FSG has frequently received expressions of interest from third parties seeking to become shareholders in Liverpool.

“FSG has said before that under the right terms and conditions we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club.”

Since Jurgen Klopp was appointed manager of Liverpool in 2015, FSG has presided over an unprecedented amount of success.
