The Senegalese striker has 11 goals in 21 appearances for Bayern, while Liverpool, who allowed Mane depart for the German champions, are mired in ninth position in the league.

Wilson, while speaking to BBC said, “When I saw that Liverpool were selling Mane in the summer, I was actually a little bit shocked,

“When you play against Liverpool, he’s the one who you think, if he’s on it, he can destroy you singlehandedly. That was probably the missing piece of the jigsaw.” he said.
