Controversial author, Reno Omokri has queried Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo for taking too long to condemn the murder of pregnant Harira Jubril and her 4 children in his state.

Naija News earlier learned that unknown gunmen invaded some villages in Orumba North and Idemili North Local Government Areas of the state on Sunday reportedly killing a mother and four of her children at Isulo village in Orumba North Local Government Area.

In reaction to the killings, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State on Tuesday had condemned the killing, and also denying reports that it was religious killings targeted at northerners in the state.

Speaking about the statement, Reno queried the sitting governor on why he took so long to condemn the death of the pregnant northern and her children.

He further asked why Soludo offered a ₦10 million reward to anyone with information on the killers of Hon. Okoye yet did nothing as such for the northern who was killed alongside her children?

In his own words; “I commend Governor Soludo for finally condemning the murder of pregnant Harira and her 4 children. But why has it taken him 4 days? It took Soludo only hours to condemn Hon. Okoye’s murder. He also offered a ₦10 million reward to anyone with information on the killers of Hon. Okoye. So, why the double standards with Harira and her children? And why have other prominent Anambra political leaders remained mute?

“More questions than answers!

“4 days after the murder of pregnant Harira and her 4 children in Anambra, how many prominent leaders from Anambra have condemned the killings or offered condolences to her family? Have you guys all forgotten so soon what you said about Northern leaders over Deborah?”
