Russia: Fears As US, UK, 25 Others Move To Supply Ukraine With Weapons

Russian soldiers are reportedly shooting themselves in the leg to avoid being recruited into the fight with Ukraine.

Local media claims that troops look for Ukrainian ammunition to use so it does not look like a self-inflicted injury when they go to the hospital.

In one conversation between soldiers intercepted by Belarusian media source NEXTA, a Russian soldier said: “They’ve been shooting at us for 14 days. We’re scared. We’re stealing food, breaking into houses. We’re killing civilians.

“Russian officers shoot themselves in the legs to go home. There are corpses everywhere.”

Another said troops are “looking for Ukrainian ammunition in order to shoot themselves in the legs and go to hospital”.

This is coming after Russian soldiers who have been captured stated that they would rise up against Vladimir Putin when they return to their country.

A Russian fighter pilot, identified as Maxim told CNN that civilians have experienced a lot of suffering since his country’s invasion.

He said: “I don’t know, what can justify, f***, the tears of a child, or even worse, the deaths of innocent people, children.”
