Emmanuel Adebayor Speaks On Super Eagles Match Against Tunisia

Former Togo striker, Emmanuel Adebayor is drumming support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria against Tunisia in the ongoing 2021 AFCON tournament.

Naija News reports that Nigeria will face Tunisia in the Round of 16 on Sunday after the Carthage Eagles finished third in Group F.

The three-time champions beat Egypt, Sudan, and debutants Guinea-Bissau to finish as Group D winners with nine points.

Speaking on the teams that may likely move to the latter stages of the tournament, Adebayor pledged his support to the Super Eagles, adding that he is strongly behind the Nigerian team.

He also added that he is rooting for the Super Eagles because he’s originally from Nigeria and would want the Nigerian team to win for every Nigerian out there.

In his own words,“Originally my parents are from Nigeria. I am Nigerian. So u guys have to win for me. If u don’t want to win for you that’s your problem but win for me.”
