Breaking: Nigeria Records 204 COVID-19 Cases, 80 In Kano, 45 In Lagos ( See Breakdown)

Nigeria has recorded 204 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the West African country.

Naija News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed this in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, April 30.

According to the NCDC, of the two hundred and four new coronavirus cases recorded on Thursday evening, 80 were detected in Kano, northern Nigeria, 45 in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 12-Gombe 9-Bauchi 9-Sokoto 7-Borno 7-Edo 6-Rivers 6-Ogun 4-FCT 4-Akwa Ibom 4-Bayelsa 3-Kaduna 2-Oyo 2-Delta 2-Nasarawa 1-Ondo 1-Kebbi, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: 204 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 80-Kano 45-Lagos 12-Gombe 9-Bauchi 9-Sokoto 7-Borno 7-Edo 6-Rivers 6-Ogun 4-FCT 4-Akwa Ibom 4-Bayelsa 3-Kaduna 2-Oyo 2-Delta 2-Nasarawa 1-Ondo 1-Kebbi 11:50 pm 30th April- 1932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 319 Deaths: 58,” the tweet added.

The development means the number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to thousand, nine hundred and thirty-two (1932) with three hundred nineteen (319) people discharged and fifty-eight (58) deaths recorded
