2023: APC Inaugurates Screening Committees Today

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has disclosed that the ruling party has picked Hon. Alhassan Doguwa as the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.

The former Edo State governor made this known during a thank-you visit by Doguwa and a Kano State delegation led by the Deputy Governor, Prof Hafizu Abubakar, to the APC National Working Committee in Abuja on Monday.

It was gathered that Doguwa, who is the member representing Tudunwada/Doguwa federal constituency, was favoured by the APC and the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Speaking, Oshiomhole noted that Kano State gave President Muhammadu Buhari the highest vote during the last election.

“This is a fact that nobody can wish away, it cannot be over-emphasised because politics is a game of number,” he added.
