List Of APC Chieftians At Adamawa Presidential Campaign Rally

Fresh information has emerged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Shetima presidential campaign rally slated to hold in Ilorin the Kwara State capital on Tuesday, 17 January.

Naija News gathered that the change in schedule was due to the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who is supposed to lead the campaign.

The new development was contained in a statement issued by Saadu Salahu on behalf of the campaign’s local organising committee.

According to him, the postponement was in order to allow President Muhammadu Buhari to lead the campaign.

Naija News reported on January 11 that the President is set to lead the APC presidential campaign train to the Southwest zone of the country starting from Ogun State on the 25th of January.

According to the party, the president is expected to attend rallies in Kwara State on January 17; Bauchi on January 23 ahead of the forthcoming general election.

It was learnt that the development is contained in the revised campaign calendar of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

It was gathered that the APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC) reviewed the campaign calendar after a crucial and strategic meeting among Bola Tinubu, his running mate, Kashim Shetimma, members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), and the Campaign Council in Abuja on Monday night in Abuja.

However, the APC’s local organing committee said “The President is scheduled for an International engagement outside the country this week, beginning from tomorrow but insists he would like to personally lead the APC presidential rally in Kwara State.

“We deeply regret any inconveniences the postponement might have caused our guests and all APC stakeholders.”
