Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has been called out by concerned persons over uncalled bloodbath in the Southern Kaduna.

Inibehe Effiong, a Human Rights activist on Friday, July 24, took to the microblogging site, Twitter, to condemn Governor El-Rufai incessant killing of innocent lives in the Southern parts of the state.

Effiong in his post wondered how the governor sleeps well at night despite killings by bandits, cattle rustlers, kidnappers and others in the state. According to the constitutional lawyer, El-Rufai have failed the people of Kaduna, adding that history would not be kind to him for tackling issues of insecurity in the state.

He tweeted; “Dear Mallam @elrufai, It is astonishing that you still sleep well at night despite the bloodbath that is taking place in Southern Kaduna. History will judge you very harshly for not exuding responsibility and leadership when it mattered most. You’ve failed as a governor.”

Meanwhile, Canadian based Nigerian actor and film producer, Pascal Atuma, has urged the National Assembly to introduce a bill which will allow for the execution of public fund looters by firing squad.

According to Atuma in a recent post on his social media account, Instagram, prison sentences have not been effective enough in the country, hence there is a need to introduce an unfriendly law in order to discourage public officers from further looting of public funds in Nigeria.
