Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has admonished newly inaugurated administrators under his administration to prioritise the life of people they are overseeing, ensure their safety and welfare, noting that this was the reason for the creation of development areas in the state.

Speaking at the swearing of the administrators, Fintiri call on the 50 administrators and charged them to carry out their assignment as needed, making sure the welfare and security of the people become their core mandate.

According to Fintiri at the event which was held on Wednesday at the Mahmud Ribadu’s Square in Yola, security and welfare for grassroots people was the measure focus of its administration for creating the development areas.

Naija News understands that the 50 development areas are spread around the constitutionally recognized 21 LGAs in the state.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Barr Tahir Shehu, on his own part while addressing the administrators, charged them to always recall that they have taken upon them an oath to serve the citizens of the state, which must become their goal always.

Also, The Administrator of Yola Central Development Area, Mr Martins Madanga on behalf of other administrators appreciates Governor Fintiri for the privilege he has given to them to serve in their various capacity in the state.

Reporting earlier in another news, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has approved the dissolution of the administrative team of the 21 Local Government Areas of the State, Naija News report.
