Internal Crisis: Zamfara APC To Embark On Prayer Exercise

Party members of Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress have been advised to take part in the spiritual exercise introduced in a bid to restored calmness and put off the storms currently been faced in the party.

In a statement made available by Hon. Lawal Liman Kaura, APC chairman in Zamfara on Tuesday, February 25 in Gusau, the party has organised special prayer sessions in the three senatorial districts of the state against the internal crisis rocking the party in the state.

Kaura confirms that the exercise will be carried out in three senatorial districts of the state, noted that the prayer exercise has been scheduled to commence on Wednesday, simultaneously at the monthly zonal meeting of the party.

He said, “The prayers were to seek divine intervention over the challenges of the party so that peace and harmony could be restored back to the state.”

He, however, charged the party members in the state to participate in the prayers in their respective zones, commending members for their perseverance in supporting the party in spite of the various challenges the party was facing.

Previously, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, has raised the ‘flag of war’ against Boko Haram as she goes spiritual with the staff of her ministry joining in a solidarity fasting and prayer, Naija News report.
