Transfer: Romelu Lukaku Set To Join Juventus

Ahead of a new season, Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku, has agreed to join Juventus this summer.

According to Gazetta Dello Sport, the Belgium international will earn £160,000-a-week plus bonuses with the Serie A champions.

The further report revealed that Lukaku will earn €9million (£8.2million) per season, a very similar offer to the one he received from Inter Milan.

Lukaku was left out of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for Tuesday’s pre-season friendly win over Kristiansund in Norway.

Recall that Naija News earlier reported that Manchester United and Juventus have agreed on a swap deal in principle involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku scored 12 Premier League goals in 32 appearances last season. He is expected to play as a backup striker to Gonzalo Higuain in Sarri’s squad with Mario Mandzukic also expected to leave Juventus.
