Fani-Kayode Kicks Against Buhari’s Suspension Of Ruga Settlements

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to cancel Ruga settlements plan for herdsmen.

Recall that Buhari on Wednesday suspended the controversial Ruga settlements for herdsmen across the nation.

Naija News understands that the suspension is not unconnected with the massive rejection of the proposal by many state governors and stakeholders.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter account, Fani-Kayode stated that Nigerians do not want the suspension of Ruga but a cancellation.

“We do not want you to suspend RUGA, we want you to CANCEL it!

“Suspension means you are postponing the evil day, cancel means it is NEVER coming back.

“If you want peace in this country RUGA must be CANCELLED and you must also CANCEL your Fulanisation and Islamisation policy,” Fani-Kayode wrote.
