Transfer Updates: Summerville, Brobbey, Camavinga, Van Dijk, Kroupi, Others

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a transfer move for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville after already signing midfielder Mateus Fernandes from the Hammers. GiveMeSport reports Spurs have identified the 24-year-old Netherlands international as another priority target this summer.

Juventus are weighing up a transfer move for Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey. TuttomercatoWeb claims the 24-year-old Netherlands forward has emerged as an alternative should the Italian giants fail to land their top target, Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.

Everton are planning for the possible departure of Idrissa Gueye. Teamtalk reports the Toffees will target either Villarreal midfielder Pape Gueye or Parma’s Mandela Keita if the 36-year-old Senegal international does not sign a new contract.

Aston Villa are also active in the transfer market, with Football Insider reporting the Midlands club are preparing a £15m bid for Celta Vigo midfielder Ilaix Moriba.

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is now expected to remain at Anfield. The Liverpool Echo reports the England international is reluctant to join Nottingham Forest, while Inter Milan are unable to meet Liverpool’s valuation of the 25-year-old.

Newly promoted Coventry City are closing in on their first signing since returning to the Premier League. Talksport claims the club are set to recruit Eintracht Frankfurt defender Aurèle Amenda.

Atletico Madrid have no intention of selling Julián Álvarez despite continued interest from Barcelona. Fichajes reports the Spanish club have ruled out entertaining offers for the 26-year-old Argentina striker.

Off the pitch, former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp could be in line for a return to international football. Fabrizio Romano reports the German would be interested in taking charge of Germany if Julian Nagelsmann leaves following their World Cup exit.

AC Milan are also considering a move for Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Serie A side are exploring the possibility of signing the 34-year-old Netherlands defender, although the financial demands and Liverpool’s reluctance to sell make any deal difficult.

Tottenham continue to pursue further attacking reinforcements. The Independent claims Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi has risen to the top of Spurs’ shortlist, although a fee in excess of £80m would be required. Bournemouth have made their stance on Alex Scott clear. Teamtalk reports the Cherries have informed Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United that the 22-year-old England midfielder is not for sale and are instead hoping to tie him down to a new long-term contract.
