Real Madrid and France midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga has extended his contract with the Spanish La Liga giants until June 30, 2029.

The new contract Eduardo Camavinga signed with Real Madrid earlier today, November 7, comes with a billion euro release clause just like the contract Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo signed about a week ago.

Recall that Camavinga joined Real Madrid from French Ligue 1 side, Rennes, in August 2021 at the age of 18.

Since then, the 20-year-old midfielder has made a total of 114 appearances for the Spanish giants. So far this season, Eduardo Camavinga has started eight of Real Madrid’s 12 league games.

He won six trophies in his first two seasons in Spain, including the 2021–2022 UEFA Champions League.

Camavinga made his international debut for France in a Uefa Nations League match against Croatia in September 2020, becoming the youngest senior France international in 106 years. Since then, he has recorded 12 caps including appearances in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In April 2019, he made his professional club debut and became the youngest player to represent Rennes at the age of 16 years and 4 months.

When Camavinga joined Real Madrid for £27 million from Rennes in 2021, he signed a six-year contract with the Bernabeu-based club that was expected to keep him with the team until 2027. But that has been extended by two more years with improved wages.
