Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, has reached out to her fans and followers for assistance in recovering her funds from a company that she suspects is attempting to defraud her of her hard-earned money.

Kadiri took to social media to recount her experience, revealing that she had entered into a business transaction with a manufacturer of body shapers and waist trainers, but despite her numerous attempts, her ordered items were never delivered.

Considering the current economic reality in the country, Kadiri implored the company to either refund her money or fulfil the delivery of the merchandise. She expressed her frustration and sadness at being taken advantage of by scammers, highlighting the difficulty of establishing trust in today’s world, and lamented that none of her communications had been answered.

Sharing her concerns with her fans on social media, Kadiri hoped that they could help her retrieve her money.

With the receipt of the transfer made to the company, she wrote: “Pls help me beg them to deliver my product or refund me! The economy is hard o! Jesu! No responding to my messages anymore!!!!

DJ Cuppy Robbed In London

Meanwhile, Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, was, on Saturday, robbed on the streets of Soho, London, Naija News reports.

The Nigerian DJ, via the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter), told her millions of followers that her phone, an iPhone 14 Pro Max, was snatched from her hands abruptly.

“They thief my iPhone 14 Max Pro from my hand in Soho,” DJ Cuppy wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

In another post, Cuppy suggested that celebrities in her shoes would’ve gotten a replacement from their fans. She wrote, “So, am I allowed to ask my cupcakes to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max? Am just asking if I can ask. I swear I’ve seen my mates in Naija receive cars from their fans.”

Naija News understands that Cuppy’s phone was snatched days after her father, Femi Otedola, gifted 1 million naira each to 750 students of Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State.

Recall that the businessman announced the donation on Thursday at the university’s fifth convocation ceremony, where he was also inaugurated as the university’s chancellor.

Otedola shared pictures on Instagram of the ceremony, noting that he hoped the donation would assist the students at this difficult time.
