Jadon Sancho, 23, may be allowed to leave Manchester United on a “long-term loan” in January as Borussia Dortmund are leading the race for the Englishman’s signature, according to 90min.

Since Sancho is unlikely to rejoin Dortmund in January, Juventus of Italy might offer an alternative, Sky Sports claimed.

Newcastle United may renew their interest in 27-year-old midfielder Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City and England if they choose to sign a short-term player to fill in for Italy international Sandro Tonali, according to The I.

Newcastle are considering other midfielders to take Tonali’s spot, who is currently serving a ban for violating betting regulations. These players include Scott McTominay, 26, of Manchester United and Scotland, Amadou Onana, 22, of Everton and Belgium, and Joao Palhinha, 28, of Fulham and Portugal, the Athletic claimed.

Following investigations into suspected betting offenses, Newcastle’s 23-year-old Tonali faces a 10-month ban that would prevent him from playing for the remainder of the season, and from competing in Euro 2024, should Italy qualify, according to Sky Italy.

With Spain international David Raya, 28, replacing England’s Aaron Ramsdale, 25, as Mikel Arteta’s starting goalkeeper this season, Chelsea are prepared to put Arsenal to the test over their resolve to keep Ramsdale, the Mail reported.

Interested suitors for Spanish winger Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao include Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham. Aston Villa are still eager to sign the 21-year-old, according to 90min.

Germany’s Jamal Musiala, 20, of Bayern Munich, would think about moving to Manchester City or Real Madrid to stand a chance of winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or, according to Sky Sports.

Manchester United have pulled out of talks to sign 22-year-old Goncalo Inacio of Sporting Lisbon in Portugal and 23-year-old Jean-Clair Todibo of Nice in France ahead of the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Serhou Guirassy, a 27-year-old Guinean forward for Stuttgart who has scored 14 goals in the Bundesliga so far this season, including two hat-tricks, is a target for Fulham. Guirassy has a little over £15 million release clause, according to the Standard.

Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is set to join Juventus on loan in January, with the possibility of a permanent signing for the 28-year-old Dane later in the summer, Calculomercato reported.
