Samuel Chukwueze Is Days Away From Joining AC Milan

The Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to join Italian giants AC Milan in the coming days after the Italian side reached an agreement with La Liga outfit Villarreal.

Before now, Samuel Chukwueze who has a year left on his current contract with Villarreal has reached an agreement on personal terms with AC Millan but the negotiations between the two clubs were delaying the deal.

But that has become a thing of the past as the 24-year-old Nigeria international is set to sign a four-year deal with the Italian club that will last until the 2026–2027 season.

Italian publication, Gazzetta, reported that AC Milan have agreed to pay Villarreal a total of €28 million, which includes €20 million upfront and €8 million in bonuses for the services of Chukwueze.

The Nigerian international was benched by the Yellow Submarine for their friendly encounter against Hannover on Saturday, which confirmed the speculation that he is on the verge of exiting the club.
