Despite rumors tying the Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, to a summer transfer away from Napoli, the team’s president Aurelio de Laurentiis says he is not for sale.

The contract between Victor Osimhen and Napoli is slated to expire in the summer of 2025; as a result, if any other teams make an offer for the potential Serie A winner and highest goalscorer of this season, Napoli will be in total control.

With 16 goals in 17 league matches, the former Lille attacker is presently topping the Italian Serie A goal-scorers chart.

Osimhen’s unavailability in the transfer market this summer has been made apparent, and Manchester United may now be forced to consider an alternative striker in the coming transfer window.

Chelsea is also interested in signing the Nigerian forward, but there is a significant chance that he will stay at Napoli, where he is currently playing some of his best games.

In response to speculations that Manchester United is planning a high-profile raid for their talismanic frontman, De Laurentiis, who wants to continue building for the future as Napoli close in on the Serie A title, said he is not planning to sell any player.

“I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale”, the football administrator told Bild.

“Our players are in demand but I don’t have to sell anyone. We don’t have any debts.”
