Delta: PDP Chieftain, Unuame, Driver Die In Auto Crash

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta state, Joe Unuame has lost his life in a car accident.

Naija News learnt that Unuame’s driver also died in the car accident that happened in the early hours of Wednesday.

Sources that spoke with Daily Independent on the incident noted that Joe Unuame’s Toyota black Jeep had a head-on collision with a tanker.

According to the sources, the accident happened at Umeh junction along Ughelli/Patani road, while he was on his way to PDP Campaign in Patani.

The sources disclosed that the politician’s driver died immediately, while the PDP chieftain was rushed to a nearby hospital, after efforts by medical doctors to revive him.

The PDP chieftain hails from the Akpere-Olomu community, Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Unuame until the incident that lead to his death on Wednesday, he was a supporter of the Governorship candidate of the PDP in Delta State, Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori.
