Liverpool Legend wants Reds to sign Victor Osimhen

Former Liverpool player, Emile Heskey, has urged Liverpool to get the signature of Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli forward has recently had an outstanding season for Luciano Spalletti’s men so far before the World Cup break.

His performance after his injury return has drawn the attention of European powerhouses which includes, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.

According to a recent rumour, the star is heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United, who is seen as one of the key players to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who exited Old Trafford.

However, Napoli has slapped an £88 million price tag on the 23-year-old’s head, which is rumoured he would not leave the Italian giants unless the amount is met.

Heskey told safebettingsites, through Tribuna, that he thinks Liverpool can sign the former Lille forward and stated: “He would certainly give them something different to what they have now. He’s different to Nunez, who can play out wide; Osimhen would be that central goal threat. He’s quick, has an eye for goal and can finish really well with both feet.”

Heskey salutes Osimhen’s quality and further claims that he would be a top player for the Merseyside club.

“I saw him score against Leicester last season in the Europa League, and he’s a top striker and would certainly enhance Liverpool’s options in attack – without a doubt,” he added.
