2023: Ayu Receives Buhari Supporters To PDP In Kano [Photos]

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu, has received members of the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO) into the party.

Naija News reports that Ayu alongside the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and other party leaders received the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State.

In his opening remarks at the occasion, the leader of one of the support groups, Bello Bichi, stated that their mission is to support Atiku’s presidential ambition.

Bichi described the former Vice President as the best candidate to rescue Nigeria from the current deplorable situation caused by the ruling party.

Also speaking, the Director-General (DG) of the Atiku Support Group, Abubakar Kabir Babawo, appreciated Ayu for welcoming the former Kano State Governor, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, back into the party’s fold.

Recall that Shekarau had asked his supporters to ensure Abubakar emerges victorious in 2023.

Naija News reports that Senator representing Kano Central made this known during his official return to the party on Monday in Kano State.

The former Minister of Education also urged his supporters to work for the PDP’s victory in the 2023 general elections, saying that he has dumped the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
