Shehu Sani Reacts After Defeating El-Rufai In Court

Former lawmaker and governorship hopeful, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the confirmation by the Kaduna State government that terrorists have a strong presence in the state.

Senator Sani in a reaction via his Twitter account on Saturday evening said the confirmation has vindicated him and he has chosen to forgive all those that attacked and discredited him when he earlier raised the alarm about the presence of terrorists in Kaduna.

The former lawmaker’s reaction comes after Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Thursday raised an alarm over the presence of the Boko Haram and the Ansaru terrorists in the state.

El-Rufai disclosed that the terrorists have established their camps in Birnin-Gwari and Giwa Local Government Areas of the state.

He said that while the state is still battling bandits, the presence of the terrorist groups in the state shows that the problem of insecurity has moved from the North-East to the North-West.

Naija News recalls El-Rufai stated this on Thursday while receiving the 2022 First Quarter Security Report from the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

Reacting, El-Rufai wrote “Now that the Government has admitted to the strong presence of ISWAP and Boko Haram terror groups in Kaduna state, we forgive all those who defamed us, insulted us and accused us of raising false alarms or exaggerating the security paralysis in the state.”

In other news, there were celebrations yesterday after kidnappers released three female students of Kaduna State College of Education (KSCOE), Gidan Waya.

Naija News understands that the young ladies were abducted three days ago and their abductors had made a demand for a huge ransom.
