12-year-old Girl Raped By School Teacher Gives Birth In Kaduna

A teenage chin-chin seller who was raped by her class teacher in Kaduna State has delivered a baby boy.

The young girl was s3xually assaulted by her supposed teacher in June 2021 at Unguwan Fantaro, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna, Naija News understands.

Reports had it that the suspect, Salihu had lured the 12-year-old girl in the guise of buying chin-chin worth N200 from her.

The innocent and unsuspecting girl fell for the teacher’s trick and Salihu allegedly covered Halima’s mouth and had carnal knowledge of her inside the room.

According to Daily Trust, the victim became pregnant three months after the incident and she was aced under the custody of the Kaduna State Ministry of Human Services and Social Development through the Ummulkhairi Foundation.

However, confirming her delivery, the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Baba, said the girl has successfully delivered a baby boy.

Hajiya Hafsat Baba, “The little girl gave birth to a baby boy three weeks ago, and I am happy the doctors at Barau Dikko Hospital were able to manage her well to give birth on her own, rather than allowing her to go through a caesarean section.

“Though the baby is with us, we just handed her over to her mother on Wednesday. We are, however, not leaving any stone unturned to see that justice prevails and the man who put the little girl in a family way pays for his action.”

She noted that the culprit had been in custody since the incident was exposed.
