Terrorists Abduct Students Of College Of Health Tech In Zamfara

Fighters of the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) have invaded Mallamti village in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State.

Naija News reports that Security Analyst and Counter-Insurgency Expert, Zagazola Makama, made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Friday night.

He stated that the terrorists, numbering about nine, stormed the village at about 8pm on Friday in three motorcycles.

According to Makama, the terrorists later robbed livestock belonging to the villagers, then headed toward Gajiganna road.

Meanwhile, a top ISWAP commander, Mallam Buba Danfulani, was gunned down by troops of the Nigerian Army.

It was learned that Danfulani and some ISWAP fighters were killed by an airstrike conducted by the Nigerian military along the fringes of Lake Chad in Borno State on Sunday, February 13.

The ISWAP leader was said to be in a meeting with his lieutenants when the airstrike was executed at the East of Madayi in the Kukawa Local Government Area of the state.

Danfulani was in charge of the deployment of spies, collection of taxes and levies, and also acted as an intermediary between the ISWAP leadership and newly recruit terrorists.
