Mastermind Of Abuja-Kuduna Train Attack Arrested

A top commander of the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP), Mallam Buba Danfulani, has been gunned down by troops of the Nigerian Army.

According to Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert, Zagazola Makama, Danfulani and some ISWAP fighters were killed by an airstrike conducted by the Nigerian military along the fringes of Lake Chad in Borno State on Sunday, February 13.

The ISWAP leader was said to be in a meeting with his lieutenants when the airstrike was executed at the East of Madayi in the Kukawa Local Government Area of the state.

It was learned that Danfulani was in charge of the deployment of spies, collection of taxes and levies, and also acted as an intermediary between the ISWAP leadership and newly recruit terrorists.

Bandits Struck In Kaduna State

Meanwhile, a group of gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists on Tuesday reportedly left behind a victim because of her health condition during a raid in Kaduna State.

The gun-wielding criminals are said to have invaded the residence of Sarkin Hausawa of Anguwar Azara in Jere, along Abuja-Kaduna highway, where they abducted wives and children of Malam Ibrahim Tanko.

Naija News learnt that the terrorists abducted the traditional leader’s wives, alongside his four daughters.

The names of the kidnapped wives are revealed as Maimuna Ibrahim and Hauwawu Ibrahim.
