Kano Govt Shut Down School Where Hanifa Was Buried

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led government has ordered the closure of a private school, Noble Kids Academy, where the body of the abducted five-year-old girl, Hanifa Abubakar, was buried by the suspects.

The affected school is located in Kwanar Dakata, in the Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

The development was announced by the Commissioner for Education, Muhammad Kiru, in a statement released on Friday.

Naija News had earlier reported that Abdulmalik Tanko who is the proprietor of the school killed the five-year-old and buried her remains inside the school.

The Commissioner while reacting to the development expressed sadness and announced that “the state government would commence an investigation of unregistered private schools and teachers to check such criminal activities.

“The school has also been closed till further notice.”

Kiru called on parents whose children attend the affected school to stop them from doing so pending the completion of the investigation.
